Night Vision for the Masses

Night Vision for the Masses

FLIR Systems’ new First Mate MS has the potential to put thermal night vision capabilities into the hands of every sailor, thanks to its compact size and low price. The First Mate MS uses the same technology as FLIR’s other products, like the M-Series, but weighs just 12oz and measures less than a 7in long.

Two versions are available, which provide higher and lower resolutions. Both versions offer 2x digital zoom and multiple color presentations, including white hot, black hot and marine red, to provide optimum viewing and protect your night vision. The First Mate MS powers up in just seconds, and its Li-Ion battery provides hours of continuous operation. It even comes with its own flashlight function.

It looks like you have several products that I just may be interested in. I know that the FLIR that is 7 inches and nly 12 oz. is a night aid that I would be interested in. I appreciate it because it does give you reading of the different color spectrum. As I read i see that you have other products that I may very well be interested in also. I am just buying a 95' and would bve in need of this type of equipment. I plan on long trips and will be underway for several years. I would, indeed, appreciate some other information that I know you would be able to provide me in the many types of night vision equipment. I thank you, in advance for any and all information that you may be able to provide me. Sincerely, James Morgan

(none) "FLIR Systems' new First Mate MS has the potential to put thermal night vision capabilities into the hands of every sailor, thanks to its compact size and low price." Every sailor can afford the $2,000 price?
