What airport do you fly into...tried googling and all they suggest is panama city, which doesn't amke any sense!
We flew into Pointe à Pitre airport, after a transfer in Puerto Rico. Pointe a Pitre is centrally located on Guadeloupe, affording you easy access to both "wings" of the butterfly-shaped island. - Meredith Laitos
Three Turtle Bay on the west coast of Guadeloupe was a lovely anchorage. The sound of the waves crashing on the rock cliff behind us was soothing. Some in the crew swam ashore to a small beach hut that offered beer, food, and smoking material. The marina in from which we departed was disappointing in all things but the trip more than made up for it. I have been twice. On the second trip, we sailed all the way to Martinique. The sailing between islands is simply awesome! I hope to return to Martinique and continue south.
The international airport code in Guadeloupe is PTP. From Miami (USA) both American Airlines and Air France fly to Guadeloupe just about every day. American stops in Puerto Rico and Air France stops in Haiti. From Montreal (Canada) Air Canada has 1 or 2 flights per week depending on the season
